Port Edward

We had a lovely outing in Port Edward today. 

The weather was nice and we had a great time at the beach and looking at the markets

Hopefully the start of summer!

I hope that is the last of the rain and from now on we have beautiful sunny days!

Happy Birthday to my love

Today is Mark and Matthew's birthday.
I'm sorry I couldn't be with Mark today as he is away working but we will celebrate when he gets back. love u babe!

Birds Nests

We had a nice lunch at the Banana Mac restaurant. We had huge pancakes with curry, chicken and seafood. it was delicious. And then we saw all the birds busy making their nests.

Today we went to the beach to collect shells. Cyril made me a heart shape out of wire and i made this lovely heart to put up in our braai area.

Stork

 

Today we saw that a stork has been walking on the beach and left his footprints. Looked like he had done quite a mission as there were footprints everywhere!

Butterfly

We saw a pretty butterfly in the garden. Cat was playing with it the poor thing. I love the patten on its wings.

 Today is Carmen's birthday. mark and i got her a lovely penny farthing decoration to put outside. We put it up on the house right away and it looks fantastic! We had a lovely lunch with Aunty Yvonne at Fish on the River. We all had the seafood platter which was so delicious. It was a wonderful day.

Planting a tree

Today we planted a new tree in the garden. We had to dig the garden and move all the rocks to make the edge. Now we are waiting for it to grow.
