Today was the last of my 6 10km races. Mum came up to do it with me. She beat me too! It was very windy, muddy and raining. My clothes and shoes were very muddy when I finished. Good to finish!

What event will I do next?

Running

Today I went for a 5.5km run after work tonight. I didn't know I had a great running track near my house. Gorgeous views and beautiful sunset. I have my last 10km run on Sunday so it's good to get some last minute training in. My mum is coming up to run with me too which will be fun.

There's a city

It was so foggy today I couldn't see the city at all!

Ailsa

Today was the funeral of a very special friend. Ailsa Marie Dalley was a remarkable woman. Born in 1916, I really believed she would be 100 but she just had enough. This photo was taken at her 96th birthday just over 3 months ago. I loved coming to Matamata to see Ailsa. I always spent a lot of time at her place, especially if I was at home and Mum and Dad were at work. She was such a character and lived life to the fullest. I'm going to miss her so much!
