Nature

New Zealand bush is beautiful. There are no poisonous snakes or spiders so you are free to walk without stress. This picture was taken on the way to the kauri trees the other day. I love hiking and tramping so try to go as often as I can.

Piha

We spent a lovely day at Piha beach. This beach is notorious for being rough and dangerous with lots of strong rips. This day however, it was calm, sunny and flat as a pancake.

We have a new pet. His name is Manti and he has lived with us since he was a baby. This is the first time we have seen him since he turned green.

We went to watch the Blues Sharks game at Eden park. The Sharks won 29 - 23

My mum made everyone Easter Bunnies. I think she made 8 in total. They are all different colours. This is my one.

Kauri Trees

Today we went for a walk to see some Kauri Trees. They are a native tree to NZ and we use it to make a lot of furniture. It is a very beautiful colour and very popular. They grow to massive heights, the biggest one in NZ is in Northland and called "Tane Mahuta". The ones in matamata are not as big as that but still amazing to see.
