New Year's Eve

It's NYE! We have had a great year with big changes, the biggest of which were getting married, and moving to south africa! There is never a dull moment! Looking forward to 2013!

We were very lucky and I am incredibly grateful for all the fish caught this summer! We have enjoyed eating beautiful tuna, mussel cracker and dorado 2-3 times a week.

Lion

I saw my first Lion today! The first time we take Mum to a game park, we see a lion! Well she is a Leo after all so maybe she attracted them. Lucky for me, I have been to game parks a few times and this is the first time to see a lion.

Umfolozi

We took Mum to Umfolozi game reserve to see wild animals. We were very lucky and saw many animals including 4 of the big 5!

Mum in St Lucia

Today we have taken Mum to the North Coast for a few days to see St Lucia and the Umfolozi game reserve.

Yachtie mates

We were very lucky that some of our yachtie mates could make the trip to SA for our wedding!

This bird is so fun to watch. his tail is so heavy, he can barely fly and he spends all day chasing other birds out of the garden. its amazing how much he flies in a day.

The monkeys came to visit today. They haven't been for a while, I guess the weather's been too bad so they've been hiding. They love coming over and eating my little tree.

The big tree in front of the tree fell down so we were busy cleaning it up. We had to tie it to the buckie and pull it. We were lucky it didnt do too much damage. it could have been a lot worse!

We had a lovely outing in Port Edward today. 

The weather was nice and we had a great time at the beach and looking at the markets

Today is Mark and Matthew's birthday.
I'm sorry I couldn't be with Mark today as he is away working but we will celebrate when he gets back. love u babe!

Birds Nests

We had a nice lunch at the Banana Mac restaurant. We had huge pancakes with curry, chicken and seafood. it was delicious. And then we saw all the birds busy making their nests.
